In the reserve grows some particular plants as the Summer Snowflake ( Leucojum aestivum ), the'Four Leaf Clover'( Marsilea quadrifolia ).

"Marsilea quadrifolia " can be grown as a potted plant, either just with soil kept wet, or semi-submerged, with fronds emergent from the water, or fully submerged, with the fronds floating on the surface of the water.

Besides this, there are also three species which are strictly protected according to the Bern Convention : European waterclover ( " Marsilea quadrifolia " ), floating watermoss ( " Salvinia natans " ), water caltrop ( " Trapa natans " ).
